Hi, my name is Rick Louie and I’m a photographer based in Denver. Some people know me as Hans and thus came about the name of Hansrico. In the end the name doesn’t matter, I just hope that one day you can call me your friend.
Photography allows me to create special artwork through images. Whether I’m capturing those special moments in your life or out capturing special moments in locations around the world, I hope that I can create that unique piece of art that is just right for you.
I’ve always loved having a camera and taking pictures of the things I see, but it wasn’t until I studied with Christopher James that I learned how to really expand and use my camera to frame and express my creative vision. Christopher James has given me a passion for understanding light and how it can create unique images. My creative vision is always changing and as my photography techniques expand I’ll share them with you here on this site.
