This past summer I was out with Jeff Clow’s Dirt Cheap Photo Tour group doing some teaching on long exposures and light painting in the Grand Tetons. Jeff decided to take us out to the abandoned cabin from the set of Shane out in Antelope Flats and get us away from the city lights. I captured this image looking away from the cabin. Nothing like a star filled sky away from the city.

- ISO: 5000

Great capture Rick! I love Milky Way shots. I wish my camera’s ISO would go higher to get something like this.
Fantastic shot Rick. I really want to do some star shooting but I have to get away from the city.
